I just found your book in the Gatlinburg Visitor Center. I have not begun to read it, although it was highly recommended by one of the folks there.
I actually purchased the book because of the title. Forfar caught my attention because my husband and I live in a house built in 1881 by a man named William Edwards who came from Forfar in 1874. He apprenticed as a stone mason in Scotland before coming here. I have tried to locate family of William or his wife Elisabeth (Scott) but have had no luck. I am looking forward to reading the book when I get back home from traveling.
If you are interested to see the house, or know more about this family, here are a couple links:
Once I read the book, maybe I will feel like I know more about the birthplace of the family.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I’ve been very busy with work and writing lately. I’m so glad you purchased my SFFF novel and want to know what you think of it when you finish. You can find me on Facebook as well. I have an Angel novel coming out in 2017; hope you will pick up on it as well.
